In 1998, Ethics Round (ER) was established all over the world due to Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign
Public Officials in International Business Transactions of OECD.
ISO plans to settle the international standard proposal by performing an international standardization for CSR at the
end of 2007.
In the U.S., the Sarbanes-Oxley Act was enforced to strengthen CSR.
The Korea Independent Commission Against Corruption was established and CSR has been emphasized in Korea as
well.
Typical cases include the Internal Accounting Control System, CEO/CFO Authentication System for Business
Reports, and Class Action Suits for Stocks.
